The Love My Body Campaign From Two Perspectives
Here are two body love campaigns, the top being from Victoria Secret and the bottom being from Dove. Now I'd normally say the bottom one shows real women, and that's true, but the top shows real women as well at least in a sense. What I'm trying to get at here is that bodies come in all shapes and sizes and if you've got that pear shape body embrace it and love it, if you don't have that curvaceous look but you have that firm tummy embrace it and love it. What both campaigns have done in two different ways of showing it is to be proud of your body no matter what shape and size you are. Yes there's still work to do for the ideal of beauty when it comes to body image, but this is a step forward. Don't you think?
